At OrthoNJ – Union County Orthopaedic Group, our Therapy team is passionate about getting patients back to doing what they love. As a PT Aide, you'll be right in the middle of that work, supporting our therapists and playing a hands-on role in patient recovery every day.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work closely with our Physical and Occupational Therapists to keep things running smoothly and ensure every patient has a positive, comfortable experience. Day to day, that looks like:

• Preparing treatment areas and setting up equipment, modalities, hot/cold packs, and other therapy tools
• Assisting patients with movement and transport throughout the facility
• Observing patients during treatment and reporting status updates to the supervising therapist
• Handling patient intake and coordinating with referring physicians' offices
• Keeping the treatment and exercise areas clean, organized, and ready to go
• Supporting front desk operations as needed to keep things flowing during busy periods

NOTE: we have Therapy offices in Clark and Union, NJ. You will be scheduled to work in both locations.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy office or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you'll be interacting with patients, therapists, and physicians' offices regularly
• A professional, positive attitude and a strong sense of confidentiality

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The hiring range for this role is $15.50-$21.50 per hour. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc.) and/or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vison and retirement plan.
