This role is ideal for a server who thrives during dinner service, enjoys connecting with guests, and can deliver polished service with warmth and personality.

Summary:

As a PM Server at Tavernonna, you are responsible for creating a memorable evening experience for every guest—from the first greeting to the final farewell. You’ll guide guests through our food and beverage offerings, manage a fast-paced dinner service, and maintain a high standard of hospitality while keeping the energy vibrant and inviting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver attentive, confident, and friendly dinner service in a high-energy evening environment
  • Guide guests through the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve items safely and efficiently
  • Anticipate guest needs and manage multiple tables with professionalism and ease
  • Process checks and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain clean, organized tables, glassware, silverware, and service areas throughout the shift
  • Prepare your station before service, maintain it during peak hours, and break it down at close
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and support staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Report tips accurately in compliance with IRS and company guidelines
  • Represent Tavernonna with a polished, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Assist with additional side work or tasks as needed
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Previous serving experience in a casual-upscale or full-service dinner restaurant preferred
  • Strong menu knowledge—or the ability to learn quickly and speak confidently about food and drinks
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced PM service environment
  • Professional appearance, warm personality, and strong work ethic
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required food and beverage certifications

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
