Position Title: Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Location: Lincolnton, North Carolina

Professional Direct Hire

Description: HTI is seeking an experienced Night Shift Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) with a manufacturing company. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation. The role is direct hire on nights and follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The pay range is $25 – $35/hr, plus a $1.50 shift differential.

What You Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED (technical degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, AC drives, and electrical systems (24VDC / 480VAC)
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
  • Experience working with hand tools, fabrication, and equipment repair
  • Ability to work safely and follow LOTO procedures

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Maintenance Technician will support production by troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment including PLCs, HMIs, ovens, slitters, and Hansa machines
  • Maintain large production lines
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
  • Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
  • Maintain organized work areas and follow 5S standards
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions while adhering to safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with installation and qualification of new equipment as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned
