Lead Bartender at Basin Harbor – Vergennes, Vermont

We are now accepting applications for a Lead Bartender. Basin Harbor has multiple dining venues, 2 outdoor bars, and many banquets, weddings, and special events during our six-month season. We are seeking an energetic, personable, and engaging Lead Bartender, who can lead our Bartending team in wine and beverage knowledge and preparation.

Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards, prior bartending and wine-specific experience of 5+ years preferred, able to take direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast paced environment, ability to remember and follow bar and beverage procedures, a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may be long and varied, evening and weekends, required full shift walking and standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 20+ lbs. frequently throughout shift.
