We have a vacancy for an Accounts Payable Officer to assist and provide backup to the Finance team.

About the role

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. In addition, the role will support the management of expense and credit card claims via Concur the expense system.

What you'll do

• Invoice Processing:
• • Receive, review, and verify invoices and check requests.
  • Sort, code, and match invoices.
• Payment Processing:
• • Set invoices up for payment, prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, and reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Vendor Management:
• • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain vendor files.
• Expense Management:
• • Assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of expense items via the concur system, including payment of staff expense claims, monitoring approval status and pending claims.
• Compliance:
• • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
• Communication:
• • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment issues and respond to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years previous accounts payable experience in a large multinational company with international payments.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Infor preferable)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
