We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support project quality and ensure coordination across disciplines. This role focuses on organizing inspections, facilitating communication between teams, and maintaining detailed records. Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and perform daily inspections: Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections: Work with field teams, subcontractors, and third‑party inspectors to arrange and witness inspections and tests.
  • Verify materials and equipment: Ensure that delivered materials and equipment conform to purchase orders, submittals, and quality standards; communicate discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor and document installations: Track the installation of structural, civil, architectural, and mechanical components, maintaining accurate records in Procore or other management platforms.
  • Facilitate clear communication: Serve as a liaison between management, subcontractors, and project staff to resolve quality issues and align expectations.
  • Support Inspection Test Plans (ITPs): Help implement ITPs and project‑specific quality plans, ensuring that hold points, witness points, and acceptance criteria are understood by responsible parties.
  • Ensure proper material handling and storage: Verify that materials are stored and handled in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
  • Participate in quality meetings: Attend project meetings to provide input on quality‑related matters and coordinate follow‑up actions.
  • Identify and report nonconformities: Report nonconforming work, assist in documenting Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), and support corrective action through cooperation with affected parties.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in general construction quality control, inspection, or related role, with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and industry codes/standards (ICC, ASTM, AWS, ACI, ASME, ISO 9001, OSHA/CFR)
  • Familiarity with Procore or other construction management software preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality assurance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships and influence others to maintain quality standards
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple inspection activities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in construction inspection fields (ACI Concrete Field Testing, ICC/AISC Structural, etc.) are a plus
  • Experience working under an ISO 9001 quality management system preferred
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or serving in a coordinator role within construction or industrial projects preferred
