We are looking for a compassionate Staffing and Training Coordinator to join our Long Term Care team. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.
Shift:
- Full-Time - 6:30a-3p (Days)
- Alternating Role of Staffing Coordinator one week and working on the floor the next.
- 80 hours every two weeks
- Willing to fill in if we have a call in during the week of Staffing Coordinator duties.
- On-call only required during the week of Staffing Coordinator duties.
- THIS POSITION CAN BE FILLED WITH A C.N.A, CMT OR LPN.
Principle Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job:
- Develops and maintains employee schedules utilizing current scheduling software
- Ensures staffing needs are met
- Reconciles staffing needs based on budget approved positions
- Assists with employee training and skills validations
- Encourages team communication
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices
- Able to provide direct care to residents in time of staff absences if needed
- Identifies areas for staff training or skills competency
- Serves as a clinical expert for staff assistance and support
- Supervises staff to ensure quality care and compliance to current policy and procedure
Candidate needs to have the following:
- MO-License in CNA, CMT or LPN
- Long Term Care Experience preferred
- Supervisor Experience preferred
