About This Position
We are seeking a Human Resource Generalist who will be responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of human resources functions. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management, ensuring HR policies, procedures, and programs are administered consistently and in compliance with applicable employment laws and company guidelines. Key responsibilities include supporting employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, performance management, HR compliance, employee records, preparing HR documentation, and supporting organizational initiatives that promote a positive and productive workplace.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, programs, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring completion of required documentation and a smooth transition for new hires
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and responding to employee benefit inquiries
- Assist with payroll processing by collecting, verifying, and submitting employee payroll information, including new hires, terminations, status changes, and timecard approvals
- Support the administration of performance management processes, including performance evaluations, disciplinary documentation, and performance improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures
- Prepare HR reports and maintain records related to headcount, turnover, training, and compliance requirements
- Support employee training and development by partnering with managers to identify training needs and coordinate training initiatives
- Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, employee events, and activities that promote a positive workplace culture
- Foster a positive, professional, and productive work environment while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 3+ years of previous experience as a Human Resource Generalist
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment practices, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with HRIS or payroll systems.

- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Experience assisting with workplace investigations and employee relations matters
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing HR reports and workforce data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing business needs and priorities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
