About This Position
Why Choose Community Inclusion?
At Community Inclusion, we believe every child deserves a safe home, supportive relationships, and the opportunity to grow within their community. Our mission is rooted in dignity, inclusion, and empowerment—ensuring children involved in the child welfare system have stable environments where they can heal, learn, and thrive.
When you partner with Community Inclusion as a Home Provider, you are not simply offering a place to stay; you become part of a team dedicated to helping children experience safety, belonging, and long-term stability.
We work closely with the Kentucky Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) to support children and youth who may need temporary placement or in-home support while their families work toward reunification or other permanency goals.
Our home providers are the heart of this work, offering the consistency, care, and encouragement that help young people move forward with confidence.
How the Home Provider Role Works
Community Inclusion partners with compassionate individuals and families who are willing to provide a safe, supportive home environment for children or youth connected to DCBS services.
As a Home Provider, you will:
• Provide a stable and nurturing home environment
• Support the child’s daily routine, structure, and well-being
• Help youth develop life skills and confidence
• Work alongside caseworkers, service providers, and families
• Be a consistent, caring adult in a child’s life during an important season of their development
You are never alone in this process. Community Inclusion provides guidance, training, and ongoing support to ensure both the provider and child have the resources needed for success. Together, we create environments where children feel safe, valued, and supported — while helping families and communities grow stronger.
