About This Position

Company Description

Curinos empowers financial institutions to make better, faster and more profitable decisions through industry-leading proprietary data, technologies and insights. With decades-long expertise in the financial services industry and a relentless focus on the future, Curinos technology and analytics ecosystem allows clients to anticipate customer needs and optimize their go-to market decisions in an increasingly competitive market. Curinos operates under a hybrid modality.

Role Overview

The VP, Solutions Architecture & Platform Commercialization is responsible for anchoring our platforms as a technically credible, commercially compelling platform motion across the Commercial organization.

This person is the connective tissue between our platform strategy, our client-facing commercial teams, and the technology ecosystems of the institutions we serve. They bring immediate credibility with a client's CTO, Head of Data, or Enterprise Architecture team, understanding how our platform connects to, or displaces, what the client already has in market, and building a compelling case for why CurinosOne wins.

They are as fluent designing an integration architecture as they are constructing a business case or presenting a solution narrative to skeptical technical buyers. When a complex platform pursuit stalls, this is the person the team calls. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to shape how a market-leading data and analytics platform is commercialized at scale, with meaningful upside as that motion matures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deal-Level Solution Architecture

  • Partner with Client Managers, GMs, and RMs on complex, high-value platform pursuits, particularly where technical complexity or integration questions are creating friction or slowing momentum.
  • Lead discovery workshops with client technical stakeholders (CTO, CIO, Head of Data, Enterprise Architecture, IT and Integration Leads) to surface constraints, existing stack realities, and integration requirements.
  • Design creative, client-specific solutions that show how CurinosOne fits into, or transforms, the client's existing technology and data environment.
  • Build architecture diagrams, solution narratives, and business cases that translate platform capabilities into outcomes the client wants to fund.
  • Support technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements, providing the deep architectural and integration expertise that allows the commercial team to demonstrate platform fit credibly.
  • Neutralize late-stage technical objections around security, data governance, integration complexity, and scalability.

2. Platform Commercialization & Enablement

  • Develop and refine CurinosOne's positioning within a financial institution's existing technology stack, clarifying where it sits, what it complements vs. replaces, how data flows, and how it impacts a buy vs. build decision.
  • Build reusable integration narratives, architectural frameworks, and solution templates that Client Managers can deploy independently.
  • Codify learnings from lighthouse deals into scalable playbooks that elevate commercial execution across the organization.
  • Partner with Product and Advisory to ensure market messaging aligns with integration realities, and to feed field intelligence back into roadmap and packaging decisions.
  • Define stage-based qualification criteria and pursuit standards for platform opportunities.
  • Accelerate Client Manager maturity so platform selling becomes institutionalized, not dependent on specialist overlay support.

3. Market & Technical Positioning

  • Strengthen Curinos' external credibility as a decision intelligence partner within modern banking technology ecosystems.
  • Engage directly with CIO, CTO, and Enterprise Architecture stakeholders in strategic pursuits to anchor technical credibility.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities across buying centers and bank tiers.
  • Contribute to annual planning and forecasting for CurinosOne.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in complex B2B solution or platform commercialization roles (SaaS, analytics, or financial services technology).
  • Deep, hands-on familiarity with the enterprise technology and data stack; able to speak credibly about how CRM, CDP, marketing automation, data lake, analytics, and governance platforms work together and how to integrate or displace incumbent solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, API integration, identity resolution, and analytics infrastructure in an enterprise context.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business value propositions into technically credible integration narratives and win complex multi-stakeholder evaluations.
  • Exceptional client-facing presence and communication skills; able to engage engineers and executives with equal fluency.
  • High emotional intelligence and relatability; clients trust you quickly and internal teams want to work with you.
  • Creative problem-solver; comfortable operating in ambiguity and constructing solutions that don't yet have a template.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Delivery, and Commercial teams.
  • Experience in financial services or banking technology required; deep familiarity with the data, analytics, and technology landscape of financial institutions strongly preferred.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Technical buyers on the client side walk away with confidence that CurinosOne belongs in their ecosystem.
  • Complex platform pursuits get unstuck faster because there is a clear owner of the technical and architectural story.
  • Client Managers are closing platform deals with more confidence because the playbooks and tools you have built are actually useful.
  • CurinosOne is positioned credibly inside client technology ecosystems, not as a point tool, but as a platform that belongs there.
  • The commercial organization is measurably better at platform selling because of what you have built, codified, and transferred.

Compensation: This role offers a base salary of $200,000-250,000 base + bonus potential
