HVAC Sales Representative Drive Growth Across Commercial Construction and Service Divisions

Job Overview:

• Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000$110,000 base (DOE) plus commission.

The Opportunity: You will serve as a foundational member of a high-growth mechanical firm, bridging the gap between technical HVAC solutions and long-term client partnerships. This role offers the unique autonomy to pursue both design-build construction projects and recurring service agreements while being supported by a leadership team dedicated to your professional thrive.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Identify and pursue new opportunities for small-to-medium HVAC construction, retrofits, and service maintenance agreements.

• Conduct detailed site visits and job walks to gather equipment data and identify critical system conditions.

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with general contractors, building owners, and regional developers.

• Collaborate with internal estimating and service departments to prepare accurate, competitive bids and technical proposals.

• Negotiate contract terms and participate in scope reviews and value engineering discussions to close high-value deals.

• Represent Unified Mechanical Group at industry networking events and trade functions to expand market presence.

• Manage and maintain accurate pipeline data and activity logs within the company CRM system for project transparency.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of B2B sales experience.

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and negotiate confidently with external partners.

• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated interest in or understanding of construction bidding and technical HVAC systems.

• Ability to travel frequently to various customer sites across Southern California.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Specific experience in Commercial HVAC or mechanical facility services.

• Proven track record of securing preventative maintenance agreements.

• Experience in conducting technical site walks and documenting equipment needs.
