Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified part-time OR Technician in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Experience with OR setting preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS Certification from AHA (or within 30 days of hire)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night Shift, 24 hours
• Part-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Responsibilities under the direction of the RN the OR tech is responsible for the set up and preparation of the OR room including moving and maintaining equipment.
• Assisting with patient positioning and transport, specimen transport, retrieving needed supplies, stocking supplies
