Insurance & Billing Specialist
Location: Central Support (Not Remote)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Friday Flex Day
Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly; eligible for overtime in accordance with company policy)

We are seeking an experienced Dental Insurance & Billing Specialist who combines accuracy and efficiency with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and strong customer service skills.
This role supports multiple offices. It requires a high level of accountability, composure under pressure, and clear communication across teams. The right candidate is solutions-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of elevating conversations — even when navigating denials, discrepancies, or difficult situations.

What You'll DoReview, submit, and follow up on insurance claims for multiple dental offices
Meet established claim submission timelines and follow-up standards
Research and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies with persistence and accuracy
Support monthly A/R management and denial resolution goals
Communicate with insurance companies and office teams with professionalism, clarity, and consistency
Complete insurance eligibility checks and detailed benefit breakdowns
Assist with patient account billing, adjustments, and EOB reconciliation
Maintain organized and accurate documentation in compliance with company standards
Contribute to reporting initiatives and continuous process improvement
Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to effectively support multiple locations.
What We're Looking For1+ years of dental billing experience (required)
Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes, CDT/CPT coding, and claim submission workflows
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
High emotional intelligence and a calm, solutions-focused mindset
Strong customer service skills — able to remain professional and composed in all interactions
Highly organized with excellent time management habits
Clear, confident, and courteous communicator
Experience with dental software (Open Dental, DentalXChange preferred)
