Centerless Grind Technician

Job Summary:
Operators are responsible for setting up and maintaining centerless grinding machines to grind precision bar stock and machine components to the required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup:
- Experience setting up and operation of a Cincinnati LR220-8
- Experience setting up and operating a Royal Master TG12x4
- Knowledge of bowl feeder setup and operation
Grinding Process; Process and Application
- Knowledge of grinding wheels and applications
- Knowledge of materials preferred in aerospace and medical applications
- Measure and inspect finished workpieces to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
Maintenance and Troubleshooting; Machine and Material:
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure their optimal operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the grinding process or machinery
- Replace worn or damaged machine parts, such as wheels or blades
- Troubleshoot material issues, such as taring and out of round conditions
Requirements:
- Experience with grinding equipment
Skills:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move packages and potentially operate equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Knowledge of JobBoss² a plus)
- Attention to detail
