About This Position
Bush Brothers is a fifth-generation family-run meat purveyor based in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Established in 1925, we pride ourselves on best-in-class service and a high-end protein portfolio. As a USDA inspected processing plant, we specialize in center-of-the-plate and portion-controlled offerings to meet the demands of Florida’s high-end Hotel, Restaurant, and Country Club clientele. We process and distribute Beef, Veal, Lamb, Pork, Poultry, and Provisions throughout South and Central Florida as well as into the Caribbean.
Key accountabilities of the Daily Delivery Truck Driver
Picking, loading, and delivering the finest meats to hotels, restaurants, and country clubs in South Florida.
Specific Responsibilities
- Inspect the truck before operation, including fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Accurately pick and load orders based on customer specifications.
- Safely deliver goods to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.
- Unload items efficiently and provide courteous service to customers.
- Address customer concerns or escalate issues as needed; make order adjustments as appropriate.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safe operation of the truck (interior and exterior) in compliance with company, state, and local regulations.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Saturday
- Summer hours: Approximately 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Peak season (November–May): Approximately 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Overtime available
Qualifications
- Previous delivery experience preferred; foodservice delivery is a plus.
- CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with dependable, daily attendance.
- Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Military service experience is strongly valued
