We are seeking a high-impact National Account Sales Representative with a proven ability to prospect, close, and scale national accounts.

This role is heavily focused on new business development in the early stages—identifying and securing the right customers. Over time, as accounts are established, the position evolves into a hybrid role, balancing account management with continued expansion of new and existing business.
The ideal candidate knows how to break into complex organizations, engage decision-makers who control enterprise-level budgets, and grow accounts beyond the initial point of entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and develop new national account opportunities
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with enterprise-level decision-makers (VPs, Directors, Heads of Facilities, Procurement, Construction)
- Close new business and successfully onboard multi-location clients
- Expand initial wins into regional and national programs, increasing revenue across additional territories
- Continuously identify new opportunities within existing accounts while maintaining strong client relationships
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure consistent execution across all markets
- Support operations team in RFP responses, proposals, and contract negotiations, where applicable
- Maintain an active pipeline and forecast through CRM tools
- Travel as needed to support business development and client engagement
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a dedicated sales role working for a commercial roofing contractor or similar commercial construction services contractor
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business (hunter mentality required)
- Demonstrated success bringing on national or multi-location customers
- Experience working with budget-owning decision-makers is required
- Ability to transition from new business development to strategic account growth over time
- Strong understanding of commercial construction services and delivery models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated with a disciplined approach to pipeline development
- Willingness to travel (30–50%)
- Existing relationships with national brands, REITs, property managers, or facility management firms
- Experience selling multi-site or national service agreements
- Proven ability to scale accounts from single-region to national footprint
