JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
-
Leads, develops, implements, and evaluates all aspects of management for assigned areas, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑ and family‑centered care. Provides leadership development, establishes policies and procedures, and ensures staff competency. Collaborates with key stakeholders to form workgroups aligned to organizational goals and to develop and monitor performance metrics for patient care, safety, and business operations. Protects organizational assets and models ethics and integrity. Facilitates effective internal and external communication and partnerships. Evaluates business initiatives and recommends process improvements, system redesigns, and new service development. Plans, organizes, and directs the operational, financial, staffing, and administrative functions of acute care services, and advises the VP of Patient Care Services and other leaders on issues related to patient care and acute care operations.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
BSN or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
-
Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required.
-
Four (4) years experience in a clinical role, and an additional two (2) years experience in a management role required.

Healthcare Provider BLS required.
-
ACLS required.
-
Experience or training in computer applications required.
