ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER at City of Dickinson – Dickinson, North Dakota

The City of Dickinson is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our ranks as an Animal Control Officer. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in nurturing the welfare of both animals and our community. Your responsibilities will entail enforcing animal control statutes, responding promptly to animal-related crises, and enlightening the public on the principles of responsible pet ownership.

Salary: $21.82 - $22.70 per hour, contingent upon qualifications and experience

Schedule: 80 hours in a 8 day period with 6 days off, rotating schedule (includes weekends as well).

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.)
• Prefer specialized training in animal control and handling or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
• Valid Driver's License
