Easterseals Iowa is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Crisis Stabilization Center. As a Crisis Stabilization Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families experiencing mental health crises. Our program operates both at our serene Camp Sunnyside location and within the community. Now is an excellent time to join us in making a difference!
Location: Camp Sunnyside
Schedule:
Part Time
Every other Saturday/Sunday from 11pm-7am
Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00/hour + Annual Raises/Bonuses

Easterseals Iowa is seeking a dedicated Crisis Stabilization Professional to join our residential team at the beautiful Camp Sunnyside. What You’ll Do:
- Empower Families: Deliver skill-building interventions that help children and families manage crises and build long-term resilience.
- Collaborate for Impact: Partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement stabilization and WRAP, (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) strategies.
- Coordinate Care: Work closely with other supports and service providers to ensure families receive comprehensive support.

What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (psychology, social work, nursing, education, etc.) + 1 year of behavioral/mental health experience
- OR a bachelor’s degree in another field + 2 years of behavioral/mental health experience
- OR 2 years of behavioral/mental health experience
- Bonus: Experience in crisis services is highly preferred
What to Expect:
First phone interview with the Recruitment and Talent Development Coordinator
Second in-person interview with department-specific Team Leader
Requirements:Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided if working in the community)
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
