As a Leasing Specialist you will provide superb customer service to residents/owners, vendors and prospects while maintaining positive resident relations at a multi-family residential apartment complex.
The preferred work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm depending on your schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greet and qualify prospective residents/prospects, track and follow up on all inquiries.
- Show the community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to clients’ needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale.
- Update availability report and process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status.
- Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date.
- Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
- Participate in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospective residents, conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.
- Assist in planning resident functions. Attend functions and participate as host for some functions as required.
- Strong customer service background required; real estate and/or leasing experience is a plus.
- Strong word processing and familiarity with spreadsheet software (Excel). Yardi knowledge a plus
- Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written
- Excellent client service, sales and relationship development skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) speakers are encouraged to apply
