Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects that support our distribution centers, branch locations, and corporate operations. Projects range from infrastructure deployments (network, hardware, new site builds) to business application initiatives (ERP, WMS, automation). The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and ready to grow alongside an evolving PMO function. This position is open to candidates at the junior through mid-level range, with responsibilities and project complexity scaled accordingly.
Responsibilities:

• Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks; escalate issues to the IT Infrastructure Manager when needed.
• Manage day-to-day project communication and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support new branch openings, warehouse expansions, and acquisitions by coordinating IT deployments and standardized site builds.
• Assist with ERP, WMS, and business application projects in partnership with operations, logistics, and procurement teams.
• Coordinate with vendors on project schedules, deliverables, statements of work, and issue resolution.
• Apply PMO standards, templates, and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) consistently across projects.
• Contribute to the maturity of the PMO by helping refine processes, templates, and reporting tools.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with the IT Infrastructure Manager to align project priorities with infrastructure roadmaps and business operations.
• Track project budgets, purchase orders, and resource utilization in coordination with leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in IT project management, project coordination, or a related role; mid-level candidates should have 4-6 years.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) and tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Asana.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and hold contributors accountable to commitments.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:
• CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification (or actively pursuing).
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts (networking, servers, cloud, endpoints).
• Exposure to ERP, WMS, or warehouse technologies such as scanners and handheld devices.
• Experience supporting multi-site, distribution, or logistics environments.
• ITIL Foundation or similar service management framework awareness.
• Experience working alongside or under a more senior PM, with a desire to grow into independent project ownership.
