Job Description
Northwest Roofing is looking for a Business Development Representative to help grow our business! In this role, you will connect with potential customers, build strong relationships, and guide them through the process from first contact to project completion. Your efforts will help drive sales and support our long-term success.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts to maintain current services revenue streams and generate new revenues from the sale of our products and service
- Responsible for all aspects of client relationships and sales cycle including: sales to new and existing clients, price negotiation, pipeline management, training and marketing support
- Prospect, qualify, and close multiple opportunities in parallel, while maintaining ongoing business partner relationships
- Generate leads through cold calling, telemarketing, referrals, and site visits
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply the in daily activities
- Submit orders, paperwork and activity reports as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Familiarity with the industry including equipment, coordination, and supply-chain management
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
- Personable, able to build rapport with coworkers and clients
