American Precast Concrete is seeking a high-accountability, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our production yard and field operations in Hollister, CA. This pivotal role owns the flow of workfrom fabrication and inventory to installationensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery across our fast-growing commercial and residential project portfolio.

Youll lead a hardworking team of shop and field personnel, oversee production schedules, drive performance metrics, and collaborate across departments to streamline execution from sale through installation. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily operations across installation, fabrication, inventory, and yard management

  • Own the production P&Ltrack KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and drive margin improvement

  • Hire, train, and develop blue-collar teams across shop and field operations

  • Ensure seamless project handoffs by collaborating with Sales, Estimating, and Project Management

  • Enforce safety standards with a zero-compromise mindset

  • Monitor product quality and installation executionsolve issues in real time

  • Develop and maintain production and field schedules aligned to customer deadlines

  • Drive a customer-first culturefocusing on execution and end-client satisfaction

  • Use tools like Buildertrend, Asana, Procore, or Monday.com to enhance scheduling, visibility, and performance tracking

  • Implement process improvements and streamline workflows

  • Coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for efficient jobsite delivery

  • Report regularly on performance, safety, and operational goals

  • Attend industry trainings and stay current on best practices in field operations

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in operations, construction, manufacturing, or production leadership

  • Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and performance in high-demand environments

  • Strong financial acumen and experience owning P&L or production budgets

  • Comfortable leading blue-collar teams with professionalism and accountability

  • Tech-savvy and willing to implement tools for scheduling, quoting, and tracking

  • Clear communicator who thrives on organization, follow-through, and results

  • Safety-first mindset with strong judgment and leadership presence

  • Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish), OSHA 10/30, forklift or heavy equipment certifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience also considered
