Position available:
- Full-time: Monday- Friday

Essential Functions:
- Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
- Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
- Works as a team member with other professionals
- Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
- Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
- Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
- Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
- Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
- Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
- Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
- Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
- Perform job duties under stressful conditions
- May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities
Education and minimum qualification:
- Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
- Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
- Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.
- Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
- Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Preferred education and experience:
- Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of practice.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of therapists effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices and standards.
