Job Overview

Lakeside Renovation & Design is seeking a skilled and dedicated Stone Mason to join our growing team of craftsmen. In this role, you will execute high-quality stonework on residential remodeling projects throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. From installing architectural cut stone to completing detailed masonry repairs, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional craftsmanship while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.

This position works closely with an assigned Lead Carpenter and Project Manager, coordinating daily tasks according to defined scopes and schedules while upholding Lakesides values of integrity, professionalism, and pride in workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install architectural cut stone including granite, marble, limestone, sandstone, and related support steel and anchors

  • Construct and erect dry-stacked stone masonry walls

  • Perform tuckpointing, caulking, and masonry cleaning

  • Complete stone repairs including dutchman repairs and fracture restoration

  • Coordinate and complete assigned scope of work according to project schedules

  • Work collaboratively with a crew of 12 team members

  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites at all times

  • Prepare work areas to protect client property, furniture, and finishes

  • Properly clean and dispose of materials after project completion

  • Communicate progress and needs to the Lead Carpenter and Project Manager

  • Follow all company safety protocols and construction best practices

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of stone masonry or relevant construction experience

  • Working knowledge of residential construction practices and industry-standard tools

  • Experience installing modern construction materials according to manufacturer best practices

  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods

  • Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

  • Willingness to commute to projects throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship

  • Overtime available based on project needs

Work Location
  • Based out of Chesterfield, MO

  • Projects located throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area

  • Daily travel to local jobsites is required
