Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid)
Starting Salary Range: $59,000 per year
The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.
What’s the role?
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across all NovumHealth markets. This role will partner closely with hiring managers, HR generalists, and cross-functional teams to ensure a streamlined, inclusive, and high-quality recruitment experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, people‑oriented, and skilled in full-cycle recruitment to support our rapid growth.
What you’ll do:
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
•Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles across clinical, operational, administrative, and leadership functions.
•Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, passive candidate pipelines, and market-specific approaches.
•Conduct initial screenings, evaluate candidate qualifications, and present shortlists to hiring managers.
•Build and maintain robust talent pools for current and future hiring needs in all markets.
Stakeholder & Candidate Experience
•Partner with hiring managers to align on job requirements, interview processes, and selection criteria.
•Serve as a key contact for candidates, ensuring a positive, transparent, and timely recruitment experience.
•Provide consistent guidance to hiring teams on best practices, interview techniques, and decision making.
Process & Data Management
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Paychex applicant tracking system (ATS).
•Track and report recruiting metrics including open positions, time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and sourcing effectiveness.
•Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment processes and elevate the candidate experience.
Employer Brand & Market Support
•Represent NovumHealth at hiring events, career fairs, and community outreach engagements across markets.
•Support initiatives to enhance NovumHealth’s employer brand, diversity recruitment strategies, and community partnerships.
•Full Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating assessments, checking references, and extending job offers.
•Cultivate sources for new behavioral health therapist graduates.
Position Control and Compliance:
•Assist with ensuring position control requirements are maintained, including verifying approved roles, monitoring vacancy status, and aligning recruitment actions with budgeted staffing plans.
•Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal HR policies.
General HR Support
•Cross-trained in HR Generalist duties including but not limited to: employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits, orientation and training, HR policies and procedures, etc.
•Additional duties may be assigned to support the Human Resource team and the organization.
Work Environment:
•This position requires onsite work during standard business hours.
•Occasional travel for hiring events or market support may be required.
•Must be able to sit or work at a computer for extended periods.
•Ability to manage high-volume requisition loads in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll bring:
•Full‑cycle recruitment and candidate pipeline development.
•Proficiency with ATS platforms. Paychex hiring tools is a plus.
•Strong sourcing skills across job boards and social platforms.
•Behavioral interviewing and candidate evaluation.
•Knowledge of employment laws (EEOC, FLSA).
•Accuracy in position control and documentation.
•Experience coordinating onboarding with HR partners.
•Excellent written and verbal communication.
•Strong stakeholder and hiring‑manager partnership skills.
•Time management and ability to handle multiple requisitions.
•High attention to detail and data integrity.
•Ability to use recruitment metrics for decision‑making.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 and virtual interview tools.
•Adaptability in a fast‑paced, multi‑market environment.
What you’ll need to start:
•2+ years’ experience in recruitment.
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or a minimum of 3 years equivalent experience.
