We are seeking a creative, driven, and compassionate Marketing Assistant to join our team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, love bringing stories to life through video and social media, and are motivated to take initiative, we would love to meet you.

Our marketing team is essential in connecting our firm to the community, building brand awareness, and providing valuable information to those in need. This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and analytical, energized by building something new, and ready to take ownership of projects from idea to execution.

Job Requirements

• Work approximately ten weekends per year to support events and team initiatives
• Shoot and edit high-quality video content for social media, website, and campaigns.
• Execute social media strategy across platforms.
• Create engaging content that reflects our mission and connects with our audience.
• Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Present and make recommendations to leadership based on insights and results.
• Assist with planning, promoting, and working events throughout the year.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support overall marketing goals.
• Continuously explore new technologies, social platforms, and functionalities.

Work Experience

Required

• A social media strategist who knows how to grow engagement and build community.
• A strong video shooter and editor who understands storytelling and visual branding.
• A self-starter who works independently and does not get stuck when challenges arise.
• Comfortable reviewing data, identifying trends, and turning insights into action.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Empathetic and compassionate with a genuine desire to serve others.
• An attitude of positivity, adaptability, curiosity, and exploration.
• Comfortable with light physical work (setting up displays, carrying swag).

Preferred

• Preferably 3+ plus years of marketing experience with demonstrated results

Education/Qualifications/Success Traits

Required

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite applications.
• Strong analysis experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Domo, Excel, etc.
• Familiarity with various software and systems used for graphic design needed for event promotion (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, etc.).
• Experience understanding promotional advertisements with various forms of media platforms (social, television, radio, and print).
• Professionally represents Garza Law Firm during all interactions with the public.
