Quality Assurance Analyst at Edmunds GovTech, Inc. – Northfield, New Jersey

Quality Assurance Analysts are focused on continually improving our products through strong processes, documentation and constant feedback. Our QA Analysts work closely with the EGT development teams in order to gain a better understanding of the enhancement/changes being made in an effort to strengthen the testing approach used for each release. The QA Analysts are an integral part of the software development lifecycle. They are responsible for creating and maintaining manual test cases for new and current software functionality.

• Create strong test plans for all enhancements/changes to the EGT products
• Identify and log bugs for new changes and current system functionality;
• Create and maintain test cases for all functional testing of EGT applications;
• Work directly with the application development teams on projects;
• Monitor bug trends and report back to team leads;
• 2+ years of manual software development testing experience;
• Prior experience working with waterfall and agile QA methodologies;
• Prior experience analyzing requirements and test scenarios;
• Knowledge of the defect management process and defect lifecycle;
• Bachelor's degree from a four year university;
• Knowledge of Selnium WebDriver, Exlipse, TestRail and Ranorex is a plus
