📍 Location: 30 N. Union Road Williamsville, NY | Based at corporate office with hybrid flexibility and requirement to visit area offices

🕒 Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Duties

• Plan, direct, and manage the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the clinical components of the EHR system
• Serve as the primary liaison between clinical leadership, medical staff, operations, IT, and vendors to assess needs and translate them into system solutions
• Analyze existing workflows, systems, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased automation
• Establish priorities for system design, development, and enhancements based on organizational and clinical needs
• Supervise and support the EHR Support Specialist, including work assignment, guidance, and performance feedback
• Coordinate and oversee system builds, upgrades, interfaces, and modifications across clinical and operational platforms
• Manage system integrations and interfaces to ensure accurate and timely data exchange between applications
• Direct vendors, contractors, and technical staff during system changes, implementations, and issue resolution
• Design and maintain clinical data collection tools to support regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements
• Develop and execute system testing plans; participate in validation, go-live support, and post-implementation evaluation
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, reports, and presentations related to system changes, performance, and future initiatives
• Ensure system solutions support patient safety, clinical efficiency, and organizational standards

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in clinical systems analysis, healthcare business analysis, or related roles involving the design, implementation, or support of healthcare information systems..
• 1-2 years experience in a management or supervisory role, preferred prior supervisory experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on MEDENT experience in an ambulatory or multispecialty environment.
• 2+ years of experience working with Epic EHR.
• Experienced in independently building, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving EMR issues and in creating, modifying, and maintaining clinical, operational, and quality reports.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, medical documentation, and regulatory requirements impacting electronic health records
• Proficiency in systems analysis, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of clinical information systems, including interfaces and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with clinicians, leadership, vendors, and IT staff
