We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mechanical Contractor's Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our dynamic team. The QC Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that our mechanical construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Oversight:
- Implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical installations to identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project team members and subcontractors to establish and monitor quality objectives.
- Document Management:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure that all project documentation related to quality control is filled out accurately and kept up-to-date.
- Training and Education:
- Support project personnel in facilitating quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that materials and equipment meet specified quality standards.
- Client Engagement:
- Interface with clients to address quality-related concerns, answer questions, and provide updates on quality control initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Openness to feedback and a desire for continuous learning.
• Punctual and dependable with a consistent attendance record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical contracting with a focus on quality control.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, NFPA, IPC/IMC, TAS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management tools.
• Proficiency in basic computer software applications (MS Office, PDF editing, etc.)
• Experience in semiconductor and/or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
• Experience inspecting welds (with or without certification) is a plus.
