Job Description
Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking an Information Technology Generalist (Mid) to join our team of professionals in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Engineering and Logistics Directorate (SEA 05).
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Administer advanced technical support for Navy information systems, networks, servers, and communication infrastructure supporting SEA 05 operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, connectivity, and system performance issues across classified and unclassified environments.
- Support server administration, network infrastructure maintenance, system upgrades, and implementation of technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Configure, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and communication equipment while ensuring consistent system performance.
- Implement network security measures, access controls, and system protections to maintain compliance with cybersecurity and operational security requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, system configurations, standard operating procedures, and support records.
- Provide technical guidance, trouble shooting assistance, and user training to SEA 05 personnel on pertinent IT systems, processes, and support requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support system improvements, issue resolution, and continuity of operations.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Education
- Applicants must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED and ten (10) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design, or authorization, or a related functional area; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and five (5) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design, or authorization, or a related functional area; OR
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Experience
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Strong networking skills.
- Experience with server administration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional).
- Experience providing advanced technical support for Navy information systems, networks, and communication infrastructure.
- Experience serving as a resource for troubleshooting complex issues and implementing system upgrades.
- Experience performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on hardware and software.
- Experience supporting the management of network infrastructure components.
- Experience resolving complex technical problems and implementing network security measures.
- Experience administering server environments and maintaining technical documentation.
- Experience mentoring junior technicians and contributing to system improvement initiatives.
