Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Women’s Health Medical Assistant to join our oncology team! This position will float between our Goodyear and Scottsdale locations.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in pre- and post-operative care for gynecology patientsPrepare exam rooms and surgical instrumentsPrepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments; strong understanding of sterile techniques. Must possess excellent sterile technique. Support minor in-office procedures and wound care; specimen collectionCoordinate patient education and follow-up appointmentsMaintain accurate medical records and documentation; process referrals as neededPerforms administrative or clerical duties as assigned including chart prep, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration

What We’re Looking For:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- **Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered***Experience in surgical or women’s health settings highly preferred1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced settingStrong communication, organizational and customer service skillsCompassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personalityEMR experience and computer proficiency a plusPositive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
