Research Nurse Position Summary

The Research Nurse is responsible for collecting, abstracting, and reporting data pertaining to clinical trials; will serve as a study contact for physicians enrolling patients and participants enrolled in clinical trials at TidalHealth. The nurse will assist in coordinating research activities with physicians and their office staff, screen patients and enroll them on protocols. The nurse will serve as liaison with patients and family members to explain options, provide informed consents, and explain expected treatment. The nurse will coordinate activities between the physicians, patients and all departments involved in providing test and treatments for the patients placed on protocols.

Research Nurse Position Requirements

Education

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
• B.S.N. degree required.

Experience

• Minimum of one to three years of work experience in clinical trials research preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Research Nurse Schedule

• Works weekly; occasional weekends or off shifts may be necessary.
• Must be able to occasionally provide emergency unscheduled assistance.

Research Nurse Benefits

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
