Assembly Production, 1st shift at Valtir LLC – Pell City, Alabama

Valtir is searching for Production Assembler team members in our Pell City, AL plant. As a Production Assembler team member, you’ll perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, assembling, and moving material

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

What you’ll do:

Use power tools and assemble simple sub-assembliesRegularly load or unload basic equipment (1 or 2 pieces) or racks
• Operate pallet jacks and other load engaging equipment, and use approved handling technique
• Report all daily production, including rejects, using the proper reporting procedure
• Monitor and identify errors or defects in simple products
• Clean and make minor repairs to equipment or assist maintenance laborer in these duties as required
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Perform general housekeeping procedures such as sweeping, clean up of spills, organizing work tools and work areas as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Experience in using various electric, pneumatic and other hand tools preferred
• Ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential functions
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
• Regular and predictable attendance
