About This Position
Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team and provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. The EMT will be responsible for responding to calls for medical assistance, evaluating patients, providing appropriate medical care, and transporting patients to the hospital or other healthcare facility as needed. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

Responsibilities:

Respond to calls for medical assistance, including evaluating patients, providing appropriate medical care, and transporting patients to the hospital or other healthcare facility as needed
- Administer first aid and medications as directed by protocols and medical direction
- Use equipment and supplies appropriately and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and care provided
- Communicate effectively with other team members and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
