  • Job Description:

FBS Appliance is looking to hire an Outside sales representative who will provide expert product knowledge, selection assistance, and customer service. In this role, you will increase sales, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by working with customers, contractors, and designers. We are looking to add a candidate that is detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This is an outside sales position where you will primarily be in the field calling on builders, visiting jobsites, or working from one of our showrooms. In this position, you will report to the Division President.

In this role, you will meet with our customers in person to identify their needs and close sales deals. Your main duties include traveling to assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, and telling clients about new products, updates, and features. You will also be responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Pay information: Salary plus Commission

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifyandestablishcontact with potential customers
  • Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
  • Develop andmaintainrelationships with new customers
  • Attend industry trade shows toidentifypotential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends toidentifynew opportunities for potential sales
  • Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
  • Work with customers or their representatives (designers, contractors etc.) in planning and product selection

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Must havestrong communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to self-prioritize based upon deadlines
  • Coachable, willing to learn and adapt to the FBS way
  • Ability to effectively communicate to team members, vendors and more
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe
  • Possessa professional, knowledgeable, positive, and energetic attitude
  • Useappropriate officetechnologies and computers to process and track orders andmaintainexcellent communication with all contacts
