Lead Medical Assistant--Certified Position Summary

Serves as the lead staff member in the practice while working as a Certified Medical Assistant. Responsible for assisting with on-the-job training of new staff and serves as the first-line resource with regard to procedures, issues and Epic. Provides initial preparation of patients prior to the provider’s encounter; assists providers in patient care activities, as directed; updates/documents records; relieves/assists Patient Service Representative as needed; orders and restocks exam rooms and office supplies as needed.

Lead Medical Assistant--Certified Position Requirements

  • Previous physician office experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health record preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Organizationally approved Medical Assistant certification required

Lead Medical Assistant--Certified Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, Day Shift
Lead Medical Assistant--Certified Benefits

At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $17.41 - $24.37 Commensurate with experience
