Product Development Technician at Boose at Cornwall Inc – Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Summary Description:

Provide engineering support to the product development team, resolving defects and other potential issues and ensuring that products meet customer specifications.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare models to be ready for CNC operations.
• Assist with corrective actions through tool order entry and scheduling.
• Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures and quality manual to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products and processes.
• Supports product development and/or operations team by providing analysis and expertise during the inspection process through customer drawing and specification interpretation.
• Maintain drawing/print rev list when creating tooling for new product.
• Update Process Control documents with new processes and photos.
• Assist in Safety and Environmental Resources
• Maintain customer casting model files and tooling files.
• Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned

Skills or Experience Required:

Must have High School diploma or GED.

Must have at least 1 year of Experience

Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Excellent verbal and written communication

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with customers, product development and customer support.

Extensive Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organizations processes
