Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve and the new Shorty's. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

What You'll Do:- Turn sales data into action. You’ll produce and analyze daily sales and vendor sell-through reports, identify trends, and make clear recommendations to the buying team — whether that means chasing more inventory or pulling back on an underperformer.
- Keep inventory reporting sharp. You’ll generate monthly inventory reports by outlet and category, maintain ongoing category-level sales tracking, and flag adjustments needed to stay aligned with established KPIs.
- Support smart buying decisions. You’ll help develop merchandising programs, contribute to floor plan layouts and display strategies across all retail locations, and assist with open-to-buy tracking to make sure purchasing stays within budget.
- Evaluate vendor performance. You’ll compile and analyze vendor sales reports, identify opportunities to grow or consolidate relationships, and support vendor communication around product results and future buying opportunities.
- Get out on the floor. You’ll regularly spend time in our resort retail locations, talking with store teams and observing guest behavior firsthand. What you learn there will inform better buying and merchandising decisions.
- Stay current on the industry. You’ll keep up with trends in golf and lifestyle retail through publications, trade associations, and merchandising events — and bring that perspective to the buying team.
- Collaborate across the retail team. You’ll work cross-functionally with the Group Merchandise Manager, internet site team, and store operations staff to align on assortment, promotions, and inventory flow.
- You have hands-on retail experience. One to three years in retail buying, merchandising, or data analytics gives you the foundation for this role. Golf industry or lifestyle retail experience is a strong plus.
- You’re comfortable digging into data. Excel is your go-to, and you can move from raw numbers to clear recommendations without getting lost in the weeds. Experience with POS systems and retail reporting platforms is a plus.
- You communicate clearly. Whether you’re talking with a vendor, presenting findings to leadership, or partnering with a store team, you know how to share information in a way that actually moves things forward.
- You stay organized under pressure. Seasonal peaks and competing priorities don’t rattle you. You’re detail-oriented, manage your workload well, and follow through.
- You genuinely care about the guest experience. You understand that great retail is part of what makes a guest’s stay memorable, and you bring that mindset to the work. A background or passion in golf or lifestyle retail goes a long way here.
