About This Position

Kenny Ross Mazda, North Huntingdon, PA is searching for driven, dedicated, and experienced Automotive Service Technicians with 1 to 5 years of experience

Do you have your PA State and Emission License and are currently working for Pep Boys, Midas, Firestone, NTB or another private garage, and are looking to advance your career and earnings? Job Duties:

  • Evaluate customer’s needs, working quickly and efficiently
  • Master products, services and company knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
  • Identify mechanical problems
  • Perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings

    • Qualifications:

  • Must have State and Emissions License
  • Good knowledge of Automobiles
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
  • Should be able to Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Detail oriented, capable of a high-quality repair
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a service department
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • A valid PA driver’s license

  • After 120 days - accrues at a rate of 40 hours
  • After 3 years – accrues at a rate of 80 hours
  • After 6 years – accrues at a rate of 120 hours
  • Sick–
  • After 90 days of hire - 40 hours are awarded
  • January 1 every year thereafter - 40 hours are awarded

    • Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20 - $35/hr flat rate pay based on level and experience

    Schedule: 40 hour work week with Saturday rotations; Sundays and 1 other day off.

    *In-person attendance is required
