This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and execution of medical content and training strategies for Medical Affairs teams within a dynamic oncology-focused environment. You will drive scientific training programs, develop educational curricula, and ensure teams are equipped with the expertise to communicate complex clinical data effectively. This position involves collaboration across Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Communications, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams, with direct influence on product launch readiness and ongoing medical engagement. The environment is fast-paced, innovative, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning, scientific rigor, and cross-functional alignment. You will contribute to the development of training materials, workshops, and assessment tools to maintain high scientific competency and enhance external engagement. - Lead development and execution of global Medical Affairs content and training plans aligned with therapeutic area strategies and product launch priorities
- Implement comprehensive training programs to ensure scientific fluency across Medical Affairs teams, including MSLs, Medical Communications, and Medical Information
- Develop curricula, workshops, and educational materials to strengthen disease state knowledge, scientific understanding, and engagement skills
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and Operations to align content with organizational goals and compliance requirements
- Support pre-launch and ongoing training initiatives to prepare teams for effective scientific and external engagement
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge retention
- Oversee creation of scientific materials, including decks, infographics, videos, and guides to support external communications
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
- 5–7+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Training, or Medical Communications within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries
- Proven expertise in scientific content development and designing training programs for Medical Affairs teams
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, engaging, and compliant educational materials
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Field Medical, Medical Communications, and Commercial teams
- Strong knowledge of oncology, particularly in precision medicine or targeted therapies, preferred
- Familiarity with industry guidelines (PhRMA, OIG, ACCME, FDA, and global regulatory requirements)
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
