We are a growing, fast-paced property management office located in Farmington Hills, MI seeking a maintenance supervisor in Texas. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized. The applicant must have reliable transportation, the ability to pass a background check, and have experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

Electrical work

Plumbing

Mechanical (heating and cooling)

Grounds and general maintenance

Mulching and maintaining flower beds

Leaf removal

Must know how to operate and maintain lawn equipment (leaf blowers, mowers, weed whacker)

Mowing, weeding, edging and trimming

Responding to emergency requests

Perform repair of buildings and equipment

Assist with the renovation/remodeling of trailers

Maintain record of scheduled services

On call for emergency situations

Various others as deemed necessary

Requirements and skills

Proven experience (>3yrs) as a supervisor leading others in a fast pace environment

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Working knowledge of office equipment

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Education & Experience:

High School degree
