Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all purchases are cost-effective, of high quality, and delivered on time. Job Summary:

Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all purchases are cost-effective, of high quality, and delivered on time. Have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to procure materials, equipment, and services that meet the company’s quality and cost standards.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to optimize purchasing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that purchased materials and equipment meet the company’s standards and specifications.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies with suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in purchasing software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Knowledge of market trends and supplier sourcing strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Certification in purchasing or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent use of a telephone and computer to communicate with customers.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies, files, and equipment up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to move freely around the office to access files, office equipment, and interact with team members.
- Regularly required to talk or hear, and occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
