Liberty Electric in Salem, NH is looking for Licensed Electricians for our projects in NH and the MA Merrimack Valley area. Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Layout: Running conduit, pulling wiring, and assembling components using hand and power tools.
- Reading Blueprints & Schematics: Interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints to plan the layout of electrical wiring and equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identifying electrical malfunctions using testing devices.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conducting inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to prevent failures.
- Effective Communication: Take direction from a Project Lead, and provide oversight to apprentices.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and avoid hazards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- OSHA 10 Certified, OSHA 30 preferred
- Electrical License valid for NH and/or MA with ability to obtain in both states of operations
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Deep understanding of electrical codes
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and diagrams
- Experience with commercial and residential wiring
- Ability to manage and lead co-workers in accomplishing projects according to schedule
- Lay out and plan work, in advance, in accordance with job schedules, plans, and specs
- Team Player. Demonstrated experience as a strong team member with superior oral and written communication skills, and solid relationship building skills.
- Works well independently or in a group
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving of your whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs solo/100 lbs assisted, balancing, walking, stooping, working on ladders at heights and handling of materials.
- Candidates will need all necessary electrical trade hand tools before starting.
