About the Opportunity
Our Client is currently seeking a HVAC & Fire Suppression
Technician/Mechanic based in Spruce Grove, Alberta, with opportunities throughout
Western and Northern Canada. Some overnight, regional travel may be required.
This role is ideal for a skilled mechanic or automotive technician who values independence
and enjoys the responsibility of operating a fully equipped service truck. You will have the
autonomy to manage your day-to-day work in the field, supported by the resources of an
established company.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out skilled work, including:
Installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining A/C and fire suppression
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical troubles
Safety assessments
Keeping detailed log book for tasks
Maintaining parts inventory in truck
Ensuring all safety tickets are up-to-date
Maintaining truck and equipment
About You
To qualify, you must have hands-on experience as a mechanic or in Heavy Equipment HVAC systems, along
with a valid driver’s license.
You should also have strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience with repair,
maintenance, and troubleshooting in one or more of the following areas:
Commercial HVAC on mining equipment
Heavy equipment
Mining equipment
Fire suppression
Practical automotive HVAC (asset)
Candidates holding journeyperson certification in automotive mechanics, HVAC, A/C, or fire
suppression are preferred, but not required. Whether you are an experienced Automotive/Heavy
Duty Mechanic or HVAC Technician, we will provide the training needed to support your
success.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, diligence, and the ability to complete all aspects
of repair. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with self-
motivation and discipline to excel in this largely autonomous role.
About the Benefits
Compensation based on skills and experience, is an hourly wage of $40-$55. In addition, you
