About the opportunity

The Franchise Resale and Transfer Associate is a liaison for existing franchisees looking to exit and candidates seeking to enter the brand. You will manage the end-to-end ownership transfer process—from initial valuation and listing to guiding buyers through due diligence and closing. This role requires a blend of financial acumen, relationship management, and project coordination to ensure a professional and seamless transition for all parties.

How you will make a difference

  • Consultation & Coaching: Help existing franchisees evaluate business value, analyze Owner’s Discretionary Profit (ODP), and optimize listings for sale.
  • Lead Management: Educate organic and broker-referred candidates on the brand model, market position, and management support.
  • Process Facilitation: Guide buyers through the discovery process, including FDD reviews, franchise applications, and territory structures.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate with Legal, Accounting, Real Estate, and IT departments to manage at least 20 transfers annually.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate a network of brokers, lenders, and industry experts to support resale activity.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and candidate management systems.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

A strong candidate will have

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, OR relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years in franchising, business resales, or professional coaching.
  • Financial Literacy: Ability to analyze financial statements, create business evaluation reports, and explain results to stakeholders.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to influence at an executive level.
  • Operational Skills: Strong project management, time management, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Minimal travel required for conventions and conferences.

The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Carrollton, TX)
