We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Maintenance Manager position, joining our Nottingham, PA team!
- SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
- HOURS: 6am-4pm
- Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:
- Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen. As well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- One to three months of related mechanical experience and/or training.
- Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
- Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
- Good balance on slippery surfaces.
- Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Places safety at the forefront, providing a safe working environment for the maintenance team at all times. Ensures employees have the knowledge and have been properly trained to perform technical tasks in a safe manner. Addresses safety concerns immediately and assists with investigating root causes of safety incidents. Keeps up-to-date on safety training for themselves and the department.
- Establishes quality standards, measures and expectations of work performed by the maintenance team. Provides direction regarding repair and preventive maintenance priorities through the CMMS. Seeks regular feedback from plant and warehouse managers regarding the service provided to them. Explores various ways to improve service and operate efficiently.
- Oversees the implementation of, and continued success of the ERP system in regards to PMs, WOs, closeout & tracking metrics accordingly.
- Ensure all repairs have been completed to ensure compliance with standards for food and safety, which includes: SQF, HACCP, QA and GMP programs as well as OSHA and Herrs safety programs.
- Encourages teamwork and positive peer relationships. Evaluates training needs and provides development opportunities on an individualized and team basis. Proactively keeps the department staffed and develops recruiting strategies by working closely with HR. Explores potential talent by developing relationships with local technical schools.
- Stays current with industry trade and trends. Establishes relationships with local companies for best practice sharing.
Explores and identifies opportunities to decrease costs within the department.
