You will analyze complex claim information, interpret policy provisions, and make informed benefit determinations in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Review, analyze, and adjudicate life and disability claims in accordance with policy provisions and regulatory guidelines
- Calculate benefit payments and communicate claim decisions clearly and accurately to members and stakeholders
- Handle claim-related inquiries and correspondence, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Collaborate with internal teams and act as a liaison to resolve issues and streamline claim processes
- Provide guidance and support to team members on claim processing procedures and best practices
- Maintain compliance with turnaround times, quality standards, and internal policies
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical or related claims processing
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex documents and policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven, and customer-focused environment
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word, and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage complex situations
- Preferred: experience in health insurance or third-party administration environments
