Operations Manager - Louisville - Port Road

The Operations Manager will develop, direct, and oversee overall plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help Facility Manager Lead Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Cultural Transformation
• Container, solidification, product destruction facility with treatment & processing equipment
• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of an Industrial Wastewater plant
• Data management systems to manage process flow and documentation
• Management of operations team members

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist the FM to closely work with Sales team to grow a profitable business
• Assist the FM and understand the site P&L and work with accounting to ensure financial goals are met
• Achieve Facility Functional Excellence
• Integrate safety, quality, and efficiency into all processing and business operations, supporting and maintaining ISO certification standards
• Lead overall facility performance by directing and optimizing plant operations
• Lead Supply Chain (Materials) to improve delivery and cost & quality of purchased goods
• Ensure the Plant consistently meets all environmental, health, safety, and security standards and regulatory requirements.

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to be hands-on or strategic depending on the business situation
• Daily Management Systems (Metrics based Daily Visual Management)
• Project Management
• Basic Chemistry knowledge
• Effective Cost control processes/mechanisms
• Ability to lead and coach team members

CRITICAL PERFORMANCE SKILLS

• Minimum 5 years of Management/Leadership Experience
• Environmental experience
• Budget and Forecast management

EDUCATIONAL/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

• College Education in relevant Environmental discipline preferred.
