Warehouse Associate at TeamWorld, Inc. – Conklin, New York

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and handling materials to support production operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick and stage materials for production orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments, including drop ship products
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper tracking and system updates
• Verify product quantities and report discrepancies

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform cycle counts as assigned to support inventory accuracy
• Complete put-away of received materials in designated storage locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment (5S standards)
• Support other departments and cross-train in additional areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

• High School diploma or GED.

Experience:

• Forklift experience.
• One year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of 5S

• Basic math and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, UPS shipping/tracking systems)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail with solid reading comprehension skills
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities
